ESTÉE LAUDER- Colour Replenish Lip Balm Review
3.2g – £25.00
What it’s meant to do: hydrate, smooth and tint your lips naturally.
Firstly, I need to comment on the packaging- how beautiful! Gorgeous pearlescent pink outer case, elegantly shaped, with a snap magnetic closing. You wouldn’t expect anything less from Estée Lauder.
Is it hydrating? As soon as this touches your lips, you can feel how buttery soft it is. One of the ingredients which is listed is olive fruit extract and that’s probably one of the key components which gives instant hydration and that nice supple feeling.
Smooth? It glides on well, the texture is perfect- it’s not a really thick lip balm but thick enough to coat your lips. I put it on after my night time skin-care routine and wake up with super soft lips! I do use it during the day but to be honest I haven’t been needing it during the day even in the winter months!
Colour? I can see a tiny amount of tint because the lady at the counter who was selling me this product boasted that the tint that you get is customised to each individuals lip, which I’m not too sure about. I wouldn’t mind if the tint had a bit more colour to it.
It has a slight scent- not unpleasant whatsoever, quite pleasant to be honest (gives me a bit of the Elizabeth Arden’s 8 hour cream vibe?).
In comparison to other balmy products I have used, this one actually feels lovely on the lips and it hydrates really well.
